Know The Ledge has entry at Carnival of Personal Finance #145 this week hosted at Million Dollar Journey.  Our 5 Life-Saving Tips For The Budget Weary is in the Budgeting section.  There are a ton of quality articles this (and every week), but there are a few that I especially liked.  Over at The Honest Dollar, the 11 ways to trigger an IRS audit is interesting to me since our taxes just got a lot more complicated this year.  Also Five Cent Nickel’s rundown on reconsidering their asset allocation is a nice exercise that my wife and I need to do now that we’ve set up our emergency savings and are looking for places to put our money.  We’re planning to pay off some debt with that extra money, but we’re also considering taking part of it and contributing more to our retirement.  Right now our investment mix is heavy on stocks in target retirement funds, but I think it’s something we need to reevaluate keeping in mind our total financial picture.

There’s a ton of content over there for just about any financial situation, so make the trip if you haven’t yet.  I hope you all had a great holiday!
